Interest Groups

Interest Groups focus on the genealogy of a particular region of the world, or a particular aspect of genealogy.

Interest Groups meet to share resources and learning opportunities. Assistance is available for those beginning their quest and there are opportunities for those looking to extend their knowledge.

Canterbury Genealogy has a number of Interest Groups which meet in the Donnington Room of our Library, except for the Computer Interest Group which meets in the Parkview Community Lounge Hall.

Please feel welcome to join us at any of the meetings!  If you are not a Canterbury Genealogy or NZSG member or a member of a local genealogy branch we would appreciate a gold coin donation. All enquiries to admin@canterburygenealogy.org.nz.

See the calendar on the Meetings page for interest group meeting dates.
